Munnabhai aka Sanju baba aka Sanjay Dutt dropped a bombshell on Saturday when at a very select press meet at the Healthworks Gym at Thane, he said that he was considering launching a series of fitness clubs and gyms along with ‘good friend’ and fitness freak Prabodh Davkhare.

Sanjay even went steps ahead and said that if Prabhod Davkhare found it right, he would love to be the brand ambassador for the brand of gyms and fitness clubs. ‘Prabodh Davkhare is a good friend and I have always told him to push his efforts even further. I would love to be the brand ambassasdor of his gyms if Prabodh finds me suitable for the job,” said Sanju baba modestly.

Prabodh Davkhare runs one of the most modern and sophisticated fitness clubs and gyms in Thane called Healthworks gym. While going through the gym, Sanjay Dutt worked out for about ten minutes on the thread mill, the weights machine and even pushed some iron.

Sources close to Prabodh Davkhare said that Sanju baba is very keen on the fitness business and the two of them have been contemplating starting a chain of fitness clubs for some time. Confirming this, Prabodh Davkhare said, ‘I would love to have Sanjay Dutt to advise my gym members and clients. Sanjay Dutt is one of the fittest Bollywood stars and is the epitome of health in the country. He has maintained his physique in spite of several ups and downs in his life. For Sanju fitness comes first.”

Munnabhai aka Sanju baba aka Sanjay Dutt spent almost two hours at the Healthworks Gym at Thane on the outskirts of Mumbai along with promoter Probodh Davkhare on Saturday.

Munnabhai exercised, lifted weights, pressed some iron and even watched a demonstration of Karate along with about 200 excited fitness freaks from the area. He shared tips with the staff and even demonstrated certain correct methods of lifting weights, pressing iron etc.

Sanju baba and Prabodh Davkhare later on addressed a press conference where Sanjay Dutt answered about 50 to 100 questions from the audience regarding health, fitness, right diet etc. There were about 200 fitness enthusiasts present at the venue while a crowd of about 2000 persons gathered out the Healthworks Gym to get a glimpse of their favourite superstar.

Speaking at the Press Conference, Prabhodh Davkhare praised and thanked Sanju Baba for taking time out of his busy schedule to encourage and support the youngsters. “Sanjay Dutt has been a great source of help and encouragement both personally and for the entire staff at Healthworks India, and I thank him on behalf of every member and employee at Healthworks India,” said Prabodh Davkhare.

Sanjay Dutt also praised Prabodh Davkhare for his efforts to popularise the idea and concept of fitness.

Not too long ago, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan also visited the Healthworks Gym and spent almost an hour with the crowd. Other stars who were present included Zulfi Sayed and many other lesser known Bollywood personalities.

Both the former Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh and the current CM have visited the Healthworks Gym and encouraged Prabodh Davkhare and his team to spread the message of fitness across the city.

Healthworks India and Prabodh Davkhare have announced several special schemes for Government Employees, Police Officials and even students who can get maximum benefit from them and stay fit and healthy.

ACTRESS AASHI THAKUR THREATENED FOR PLAYING REKHA IN BIGG B FILM

New bombshell on the block Aashi Thakur (also known as Aashi Singh) - who is all poised to take Bollywood by storm - got a couple of threatening calls on Thursday evening from an anonymous caller who threatened to cause her harm if she played the role of Rekha in an upcoming Bollywood film.

According to sources, Aashi Thakur has signed a film called “The Many Faces of Rekha” produced by Spectra Multimedia Films (I). The film has some vague references to Bollywood diva Rekha and her much-publicised linkage with the Big B.

Spokesperson and Executive Producer for Spectra Multimedia Films (I), Flynn Remedios refused to comment on the issue saying that the project is ‘under consideration’.

Fashion model and actress Kristna Saika accuses producer of humiliation

Fashion and art model and actress Kristna Saika has accused the production house Cine Centre and its producer Prakash Shetty of ill-treating her during the shooting of the film Molly in Bangalore last week. The film is directed by Rajiv Gupta, who is also an editor and had last edited the film ‘Shortcut’. Molly is Rajiv Gupta’s debut film.

Apparently according to Kristna Saika, she was put up in a dirty house and made to eat stale food. Her colleague and herself were not provided with warm water for bathing and were inconvenienced in every little way. They were not picked up from the airport when they landed in Bangalore and had to do everything on their own. No facilities were extended to them that are normally provided to cine stars and models.

The production house has denied all these allegations, saying that Kristna is just making a mountain of a mole hill and using the issue as a publicity stunt.


However, Kristna has produced a medical certificate claiming that she had to take a flight back – with her own money – to Mumbai when she fell ill due to the shoddy food and lodging conditions. She has undergone medical treatment for throat infection, stomach poisoning and various other related ailments.

Kristna has complained to the IMPAA – the association of film producers – a claim that is countered by the producer who says that it was he who first approached IMPAA after the actress walked out of his film without informing him and left for Mumbai.

EXCLUSIVE: KRISHIKA GUPTA GROPED BY WOMEN IN A DISCO AT 5- STAR HOTEL IN MUMBAI

Actress Krrishika Gupta of the Neetu Chandra-The Man magazine photo shoot fame is very upset, angry and is actually tearing out her hair. Thanks to the erotic cover photo shoot, she has been labeled as a lesbian by most of her friends. In fact, so acute is the problem that her male friends are wary of letting their girl friends go alone with her, fearing that she may make a pass at them.

The icing on the cake was when she went to a disco at a 5-star hotel at Juhu in suburban Mumbai on Sunday. As she was enjoying herself on the dance floor, two women who seemed to be drunk surrounded her and began groping her. They pawed her, said vulgar things about the photo shoot and even tried to push their hands into her skirt. Krrishika had to slap one of them and get away.

According to Krrishika’s publicist Flynn Remedios, who has sent a written complaint to the hotel’s management, the women almost confined Krrishika between them for a full five minutes. “Krrishika didn’t want to raise a stink and somehow managed to get away, but not before the women had royally molested and groped her,” said Flynn Remedios.

In fact, the women first bumped into her at the bar, when she went to get herself a can of a popular energy drink. The women who were drinking at the bar noticed Krrishika who was wearing a short mini skirt and a tight top.

Says Krrishika, “When they say me, they looked at each other and sort of smiled. The taller well-built woman who didn’t seem to be Indian – she was fair-skinned and spoke with an accent – asked her if she was the same model who was in a lesbian photo shoot with an actress. Initially Krrishika didn’t suspect anything wrong and answered them in the affirmative. As she took her energy drink and went back to the dance floor, the women – in their late 20s followed her.

A furious Krrishika said that there should be a law against molestation of a person by another person of the same sex.

During the time of the photo shoot controversy, Krrishika got almost 200 SMS messages from her friends and contacts in the industry actually asking her if she ‘had turned lesbian’. Says Krrishika, “I am not at all lesbian from any angle. I am a normal heterosexual and I even sort of like someone, but I am currently not dating any one. Sex is the last thing on my mind as I am concentrating on my work.”

Krrishika’s publicist Flynn Remedios gets about 2-3 enquries from media persons each day with regard to lesbian or gay related themes. “During the recent gay controversy, several media persons called me to ask if Krrishika Gupta would like to speak on the subject as she had done a lesbian shoot,” says Remedios, explaining that he had a tough time telling media persons that Krrishika Gupta was NOT lesbian at all.

We hear that Krrishika Gupta has been approached by Spectra Multimedia Films to do a special film. Spectra Multimedia has launched about ten film projects and one of them is a film that’s based on the love triangle between Shahid Kapoor, Kareena and Saif Ali Khan.

She even refused to name the production house, saying that the producer has forbidden her from speaking to the media on the issue.

The video which is being made at a budget of Rs 50 lakh is pegged to be one of the most expensive videos ever made. The promotion and marketing budget of this video will be in the range of Rs 30 lakh and the total project cost is estimated to be around Rs 80 to 90 lakh. The video will be shot in 3 international locales, but details of the same are not yet available. Our sources said that the project will take off in Dec-Jan and is expected to be on air in Feb 2010.


Spokesperson and Executive Producer for Spectra Multimedia Films, Flynn Remedios who have signed Aashi Singh for this project said that the music is being worked on by DJ Shezwood and DJ Akbar Sami. “We are still working on the theme of the video and once we have a fix on the music, we will decide on the location of the shoot. This is a very ambitious project and we are keeping our fingers crossed,” he added.

Bollywood’s very own Angelina Jolie aka Aaliyah was mobbed at Infinity Mall at Lokhandwala in the suburb of Andheri in Mumbai on Wednesday late evening. According to an eye-witness, Aaliyah was doing some shopping at Infinity Mall at around 9 pm when some teenagers saw her and recognised her from the several hoardings that have sprung up all over Mumbai, heralding the launch of her debut music album and video titled AALIYAH. To make matters worse for teenage sensation Aaliyah, her music video promos are on air and a popular radio station was running a recorded interview with her when the incident happened.

The teenagers numbering about a dozen noticed her at the Food Court and raised a ruckus saying that a Bollywood actress had come to Infinity Mall. Within moments, Aaliyah and her friend were surrounded by almost two dozen teenagers as well as older youth, who just would not let her go. They demanded that she click photographs and sign autographs.

Aaliyah was gheraoed for about 20 minutes till she obliged the entire crowd with photos and autographs. Fortunately, before the situation could get out of hand, with the help of some elders amongst the crowd Aaliyah and her friend managed to escape.

A frightened, but also partly amused Aaaliyah later told this journalist that she never expected that the crowd would recognise her. “Though my video is on air on several channels and my promos are on almost every other news and entertainment channel, it was the hoardings in the vicinity of Lokhandwala that the crowd seemed to be taken in by.”

The sexy, curvaceous Aaliyah with a body worth killing for, has a striking resemblance to Hollywood diva Angelina Jolie. Her face, nose, lips and pout are an exact replica of Angelina Jolie. She is also an ardent Angelina Jolie fan and some day aspires to be a great actress like her. Her debut music album AALIYAH has just been released with the titled track Woh Haseen Dard De Do which has been picturised as a music video.

The 21-year –old brims with energy and enthusiasm as she talks about her new album. The lyrics that have been sung by Pamela Jain have a very energetic feel and beat and the peerless DJ Shezwood has done a great job on the music. The catchy beat has a rhythmic foot-tapping dance feel and is yet soothing on the ears. A fitness freak, she works out for about two hours daily to get the body that most girls would give their right arm for.

Born and brought up in Mumbai, Aaliyah studied at a college in Malad graduating in Commerce. Acting was always her first love and she joined Kishore Namit Kapoor’s Academy where she did a comprehensive acting course. She also learnt dancing and is a professional Indian and western classical dancer. She is familiar with several Indian and western dance forms like Salsa, Bharat Natayam, Kathkali, Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango to name a few. Aaliyah has also learnt sword fighting, Karate, Judo, Taekwondo, and is a great Yoga enthusiast.

Sources close to Rakhi Sawant said that the first fissures in the so-called relationship surfaced when Rakhi got out of her closely monitored, scripted and tightly controlled (by the spin doctors, EPs and bosses at NDTV) Swayamvar and began meeting and interacting with Elesh in real life. May be Rakhi was also fed up with the entire drama and the show baazi. I mean how long can one put on an act.

Meanwhile on several occasions during the reality show Rakhi ka Swayamvar, Rakhi said that she was truly in love with Jesus who is her Lord.

And finally two days ago, the cat was out of the bag. Rakhi openly admitted that Elesh and she are not on the same wave length – though not in as many words. The stress of putting on an act was getting to her and it began to show. Rakhi has openly stated to the media in the last few days that she is “finding Elesh a different person outside.” She has voiced her displeasure at his sophistication and finesse – something that is not so natural to her.

Apparently, Rakhi and Elesh have unofficially split. The meetings and telephone calls have become rare and Rakhi has suddenly become partly inaccessible to Elesh Parunjanwala. In fact, an assistant replies when Elesh messages Rakhi – something that he probably finds it hard to swallow.

It won’t be long before the split becomes official and public and the truth comes out in the open – Rakhi Sawant and Elesh Parunjanwala are no longer a couple and the so-called engagement is OFF.

CLAUDIA CIESLA BEGINS HOUSE HUNTING IN JUHU IN SUBURBAN MUMBAI

German supermodel and promising Bollywood actress Claudia Ciesla has been house hunting for a “decent place to stay” in Juhu, Lokhandwala and Bandra in suburban Mumbai say sources. While Claudia Ciesla is currently in Munich, she intends to move permanently and settle down in Mumbai and has even roped in an agent to find her a “good, decent place to stay”.

Claudia’s publicist for India, Flynn Remedios said that Claudia is very fond of the Juhu area particularly the sea front and would love to find either a flat or a small apartment that she could rent. “Yes she is house-hunting and would like to permanently settle down in Mumbai which she now considers her home. She has short-listed three locations – Juhu, Bandra and Lokhandwala and will check out the apartments when she is in Mumbai next.”

Claudia Ciesla has been getting several offers from regional film makers including offers to do films in Tamil, Marathi and Bengali, said Flynn Remedios who also doubles up as her business manager for India. Right now, Claudia is considering and reading scripts for a multi-lingual cross over film where she would play an NRI girl who returns to India after almost 30 years. She is yet to sign the film though and will probably do so after a final meeting with the producer and director when she returns to India. Also in the pipe-line is a very big budget, big banner film, but Claudia isn’t talking about it yet.

FURIOUS SHRADHA SHARMA LASHES OUT AT RAKHI SAWANT’S EX-BF

A furious Shradha Sharma lashed out viciously at Rakhi Sawant’s ex-boyfriend Abhishek Awasthi asserting that Abhishek Awasthi was a liar, a dog and an idiot.

Shradha’s rage went through the roof when she read an interview in the latest issue of Showtime magazine, where in an interview Abhishek Awasthi was quoted as saying, “I don’t know who the hell this Shradha Sharma is. I have seen articles on the net linking our names together, but I have kept silent because the more I talk about this, the more publicity the other person will get and I don’t want that.”

Abhishek’s statements were a desperate means to get into the good books of Rakhi Sawant and a last-ditch effort to distance himself from ex-flame Shradha Sharma. In the past Rakhi Sawant had accused Abhishek Awasthi of ditching her for Shradha Sharma and even trying to woo another woman while he was living-in with her. In an interview Rakhi had said, “I pray that God may punish Abhishek for cheating me”.

When we confronted Shradha Sharma with this interview, she blew her top. “Like a dog, Abhishek used to stand outside my house and wait for me. He brought me wine bottles and flowers and used to sit at my feet and press my legs calling me names like ‘princess’ etc. He is an idiot and I knew from the start that he only wanted to use me to further his own career. He promised me lots of work and tried to show me that he had all of Rakhi Sawant’s contacts. If I meet him, I will give him two tight slaps. He wanted me to marry him. He used to woo me with promises like ‘I will keep you very happy baby’. He even invited me several times to his new flat at Malad and we even watched a few films at his pad all alone. Now the b*****d doesn’t have the b***s to face up to all that. He is a coward and an idiot of the first order. I haven’t seen a bigger looser than him,” blurted a visibly upset and screaming Shradha Sharma.

Wanting to set the record straight, Shradha Sharma got her publicist Flynn Remedios to issue an official Press Statemen claiming that “Shradha Sharma was very hurt and disappointed with Abhishek Awasthi and his dirty tricks and irresponsible comments. It is sad that he is lying through his teeth. Shradha Sharma doesn’t need Abhishek’s help for her publicity. “


So furious and violent was she that we decided not to ask her any more questions about her “friendship” with Abhishek Awasthi. But she added on her own, “I kept quiet about this entire issue all this while as I don’t believe in washing dirty linen in public. What transpired between Abhishek Awasthi and me was something very private. In fact, I would not have entertained him in the first place, but he promised to teach me dance and get me good work. I was at that time looking for a good choreographer and he offered to help me out. He also told me that Rakhi used to ill-treat him and he wanted to opt out of the relationship with Rakhi Sawant. “

“Even when the media questioned me, I only said that Abhishek was a friend. But now I know that he is an idiot and a loser. He had told me time and again that he was willing to ‘dump’ Rakhi Sawant if I agreed to marry him. He wanted to marry me at all cost and did everything to woo me and convince me. We have gone on long drives and once even met with a minor accident as Abhishek got me some wine and got me drunk on the way. He was trying to get me into a soup or a compromising position with him so that he could possibly blackmail me later on.”

He was even trying to sleep with me by hook or crook. He got me drunk by getting very strong wine, knowing very well that I cannot hold my drinks. He would tell me that the wine was very mild and would pour out a full glass. Not knowing the strength of the wine, I would drink it only to realise after a few minutes that my head was reeling and paining badly. Abhishek Awasthi was trying to get me drunk in order to have sex with me, thinking that I would succumb to his demands and pressure. Fortunately for me, I saw through his tricks and managed to keep him at bay.”

We tried to contact Abhishek Awasthi for his comments, but his phone was not reachable in spite of several attempts. We even sent him an SMS but he didn’t respond to our efforts to contact him for his side of the story.

She has a striking resemblance to Hollywood diva Angelina Jolie. Her face, nose, lips and pout are an exact replica of Angelina Jolie. She is also an ardent Angelina Jolie fan and some day aspires to be a great actress like her. Meet our very own desi Angelina Jolie, Aaliyah who has just released her debut music album AALIYAH with the titled track Woh Haseen Dard De Do which has been picturised as a music video.

The 21-year –old Aaliyah brims with energy and enthusiasm as she talks about her new album. The lyrics that have been sung by Pamela Jain have a very energetic feel and beat and the peerless DJ Shezwood has done a great job on the music. The catchy beat has a rhythmic foot-tapping dance feel and is yet soothing on the ears.

Born and brought up in Mumbai, Aaliyah studied at a college in Malad graduating in Commerce. Acting was always her first love and she joined Kishore Namit Kapoor’s Academy where she did a comprehensive acting course. She also learnt dancing and is a professional Indian and western classical dancer. She is familiar with several Indian and western dance forms like Salsa, Bharat Natayam, Kathkali, Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango to name a few. Aaliyah has also learnt sword fighting, Karate, Judo, Taekwondo, and is a great Yoga enthusiast.

She practices her dance for an hour each morning, before heading for the gym. A strenuous workout ensures that she has the right curves at the right places. A fitness freak, Aaliyah also practices Yoga, Kick Boxing and cycles for an hour when she has the time.

Aaliyah loves all things pink. Her car is a cute baby pink and her pearly white Nokia E71 has a pink sticker on the reverse. Well that’s all for now, I am definitely not giving you her phone no.

Alexander the Great gets sexed-up with nubile semi-nude belles in Royal Utsav

The Mythical potboiler and period film Royal Utsav - a film based on the story of the reincarnation of the Greek conqueror Alexander - will be modified and tailored with a generous sprinkling of semi-nude and partly clad sexy models and the story and plot partly changed to suit international audiences.


Alexander and his entourage will be sexed-up with nubile semi nude belles all cast in a different time and age, say sources, adding that the production wallas want the film to appeal to an international audience.
The film is pregnant with love, lust, romance, glamour and sex and requires a mature audience to appreciate its intrinsic values and story. With the modification, the glamour component will go up substantially, say sources.


Says a spokesperson from Shivhari Media – the producers of the film, “We have a lot of footage which was shot during the making of the film. To suit Indian sensibilities and a traditional audience we had not used a lot of the footage. However, I am sure international audiences would be more tolerant and will appreciate some spice in the film.”


The Greek King’s conquest of expanding his empire to the eastern world came to an end when he came to India. Alexander was forced to leave India as his army got home sick. As recorded by historicians, on his way back home, Alexander died in Babylon. Royal Utsav begins where history ends.


According to the film, Alexander is reborn in Greece in a small town house. An astrologer christens him Sikander and as he grows up Sikander dreaming of going to India one day together with his bosom friend. He finally reaches his dream destination during the Maurya rule.


When in India, he falls in love with Roopmati, one of India’s most beautiful women. Meanwhile, Katherin, a Greek princess in love with Alexander makes her way to India only to discover he’s madly in love and ready to elope with someone else. Royal Utsav is a film where historical stories from Greece and India cross and entwine paths to create a mythical saga picking threads from mythology and history.


According to director Ravi K Patva, “This film tells the tale of Alexander the Great, but not the way the world knows it from history books. Alexander’s saga ends with his death but thanks to some cinematic liberty we came up with the story of Royal Utsav. Portraying Alexander’s rebirth was an innovative concept and it allowed for a lot of space to write a very compelling script.


This film is about the journey of love and to what length humans can go to find love. In the film Alexander falls in love with Roopmati a courtesan in the Royal Palace, while Katherin the Greek princess lusts for an Indian poet. Will the Greek princess use her power to ensnare Alexander or pull him away from Roopmati? It’s a showcase of International diverse cultures coming together in a Royal Utsav.


In terms of grandeur the film will please the audiences, says the director Set in 400 B.C., it’s a visual treat that will delight the viewer with adequate doses of lust and sex.


Made at a budget of Rs 150 million, the Indian edition of the film was released in Hindi, English, Tamil and Telugu. Now the producers plan to release it internationally after the changes. Everything, from the costumes to the music, is well researched. Its sets are really magnificent, added Patwa.

Chirag Ruia: “We were chased by wolves while shooting Chal Chalein”

Child actor and model Chirag Ruia who makes his Bollywood debut with the film Chal Chalein releasing on 7th August was chased by wolves while shooting for the film in Allahabad.

Says Chirag, “We were shooting some court room scenes in Allahabad and spent almost a month there. While most of our stay was uneventful, one incident will remain etched in our minds for a long time to come. One evening after we had wrapped up for the day, we went out to have a look at the country side. We were driving through a side route that bordered a hamlet about 80 kilometers away from Allahabad city when we stopped our car as the driver wanted to answer nature’s call. There were a lot of bushes and shrubbery in the vicinity and I later learnt that a small forest was nearby.

As we got off the car, a pack of wild wolves suddenly emerged out of the bushes apparently out of nowhere and charged at us. We were scared out of our wits and jumped into the car and bolted the doors. Luckily the windows were shut and the driver drove like crazy over the pot-holed, dusty village road till the wolves gave up chase. We were all trembling and very scared. When we returned to our hotel and narrated our story, the other locals started laughing. Apparently, we had driven through a jungle area that is known to be infested by wolves, cheetah, wild dogs and boar – route that even locals fear to take.”

Chirag Ruia has appeared in over 200 print and television ads including serials like Chamatkar on DD 1, Kya Mujse Dosti Karoge on Hungama, Kitu Sab Janti Hein on Sahara One, Rooh on Zee TV, Raavan on Zee TV, Son Pari on Star Plus and Dil Mil Gaye on Star One. He has also featured in programs on Zoom and other regional channels, besides also doing a Bhojpuri film. Chirag was on the Indian Oil calendar in 2004, Purple Kids wear campaign and Hercules Cycles to name a few.

Speaking about the film, Chirag Ruia says, “Chal Chalein is the story of eight students, who find themselves in extreme anxiety because of their parent’s constant pressure to excel in their academic career. It is a real life story. One of them is unable to withstand the pressure and commits suicide. All the seven friends decide to file a case against their dead friend’s parents and the government.”

Shilpa Shukla is the defence lawyer while Mukesh Khanna is the judge. Music for the film is provided by Illayraja who is a well-known music director from the south.
